Duration: 90 min

A spectacular aerial view of the wonderful city of Heraklion. Departing from Heraklion Airport you will fly over the magnificent Minoan palace of Knossos, the center of the Minoan civilisation.

You will then get a bird’s eye view of Mount Psiloritis which is the highest mountain of Crete and the place were god Zeus was raised. Your helicopter tour will then take you over the village of Mires which gets busy during Saturdays as it attracts many visitors to its market that sells everything from vegetables, to animals and various handmade artefacts.

Heading towards the South Coast you will pass Myrtos which is considered a jewel of Crete, a small picturesque seaside village located in the regional unit of Lasithi. Myrtos has a rich history and was especially popular among hippies in the 1970s.

Climb into the skies for a bird’s-eye view of the mesmerising Mirabello Bay and Agios Nikolaos, one of the most popular tourism destinations in Crete. Explore the famous traditional fishing village of Elounda from above, flying over the island of Spinalonga, which was an important Venetian fortress that became a leper colony in 1903.
